Founded by Casey Habegger ’23 and led this year by Sofia Musicco, TCSIF’s Women in Finance group makes the fund more accessible to female students and provides them another avenue to explore their interest in financial services outside all-fund meetings and sector groups. A key initiative of WIF is developing a robust alumni mentorship program for current Trinity women to connect with alumnae working in finance at top firms such as BlackRock, J.P Morgan, Citi Group, Goldman Sachs, and many others. The mentorship program will require interested students to fill out an application to place them with their mentor. It is the responsibility of the mentee to reach out and drive the mentor-mentee relationship. Additionally, members gain access to interview prep and resume-building workshops, insight into special application programs geared towards women, and the opportunity to attend speaker events with female leaders in the industry. The group aims to provide Trinity women with the infrastructure to establish meaningful connections and to build their knowledge of the financial industry, while also empowering them to take initiative as they carve their career paths.
