The Trinity College Student Investment Fund (TCSIF) holds all-fund meetings once a week, where fund leaders provide updates on positions, supply market insights, and discuss relevant current events. During all-fund meetings, analysts have the opportunity to present approved stock pitches to the entire TCSIF body. Our core mission is to preserve capital, to identify valuable investment opportunities, and to maintain the long-term growth of our positions. TCSIF accomplishes this by fostering an education-centered environment, by utilizing both technical and practical investment analyses, and by ensuring proper risk management.
The fund itself is composed of a diverse set of asset classes: publicly traded equities, ETFs, fixed income instruments, commodity funds, REITs, ADRs, etc. TCSIF does not trade or participate in the exchange of short, on margin, or derivative products, and we use the Standard and Poor’s 500 (S&P 500) as a benchmark for our investment activities. All students, regardless of their professional and/or investment experiences, are welcome to join TCSIF. We invite students to join the fund and expand their investment and market knowledge, gain access to a vast alumni network, and unlock future pathways in the financial services industry.
