Led by Miles Harvey, the Investment Banking Prep Group is a career preparatory group of TCSIF’s Wall Street Professional Development division. The group was co-founded by Matthew Pecora ’24 and Jan-Peter Kaufmann ’24 to help Trinity students secure internships and full-time jobs in the industry. As investment banking represents one of the most lucrative jobs with excellent exit opportunities for recent college graduates, it is one of the most selective careers in the financial service industry. TCSIF’s Investment Banking Prep Group aims to prepare interested students for the challenging selection process by providing insightful information regarding the industry and its early application process. Members of the group can expect to obtain necessary soft skills such as networking, resume building, and cover letter drafting as well as industry-specific technical skills like familiarity with financial statements, financial modeling, and Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, members will have exclusive access to guest speakers and proper interview preparation for behavioral and technical questions. Membership is open to all Trinity students, regardless of their major or involvement with other TCSIF groups.
